Robert Dawson has provided four more programmes. Who can forget Sweeney Todd? That’s the one in which the late Trevor ‘Tod’ Cole escaped brain damage at the first test of the demon barber of Fleet Street’s chair. Or Mrs Lovett’s pies, sold by the late Gordon Taylor et al. to the audience in the interval until the dropped grease ruined the hall floor polish and later nights had to be pieless?
From Robert Dawson has come the programme for the School Play, I Killed the Count, staged in December 1971. A few familiar names appear there.
From Annette Furuyama’s collection, The Centaur 1970-71. The format is now A4, publication is annual and the printing has become ‘camera ready’.
