David Hallam has provided the following information on his cousin:

HALLAM, Albert William DFC. 1933-1937? b Beeston 1921; d Surrey 1987. RAFVR 1942, cmd 1943; F/O 1944 (207 Squadron flying Lancasters), DFC gazetted 1944; F/Lt 1946. A member of the aircrew servicing the Moscow Conference and later a member of the Queen’s Flight. Fighter Control Branch from 1953. Cousin of Donald Hallam (below).

This photograph appeared in the Facebook Group Henry Mellish Memories recently. It was posted by Malcolm Lindley and he with other members of that group contributed to the identifications. Garry Humphreys has added another name. One remains unidentified.

It is likely ;to have been taken in the Summer Term 1965 since those present do not match the list of prefects for that year in The Centaur. Some in the list had left earlier in the year and several who were listed as prefects the next year must have been promoted.
